With a limited budget on hand, I had to scrutinise carefully the different brands online. Had to eliminate those really pricey ones unfortunately and narrowed down my options to a few. I was initially unsure about Bluvale because it did not offer any trial periods like other brands but the price point is significantly lower than even the brands offering trial periods.

I spoke over the phone with a John who explained the health benefits of sleeping on a natural latex mattress and he also patiently told me the difficulty transitioning from a spring to a latex foam mattress. Was also told there is no certification in the market that can certify products as being "100% natural latex". I appreciated his honesty.

Delivery was uneventful as it should be. Nice uncles came and went after unwrapping my queen size latex mattress.

I am a single man who weighs around 70-75kg. First night on the green bed, I noticed it took me longer to fall asleep as the feeling of a latex bed is a bit different from my old spring mattress. Less bouncier than a spring mattress but not as gooey and soft like one of those fancy memory foam beds. Somewhat in between. I texted John about my concern and he said this is the case with most customers transitioning to a new type of mattress. Mildly assured but still worried I may have made a mistake, I kept trying for another week. The time it took for me to fall asleep did come down eventually and I also noticed that my backaches were going away. I called John again and he told me that latex foam has the supportiveness of a spring bed and the body conforming comfort of a foam bed.

I recommend the Green bed for anyone who likes to sleep on a medium firm and eco-friendly material. Works for both side sleeping and back sleeping.
